The BCC Color Choker filter posterizes and blurs colors in an image clip for creative and artistic results. You can use this filter to create pixelated transitions between two images. The BCC Alpha Pixel Noise filter adds noise to an image’s alpha channel. This allows for greater control over which areas of the image the filter should affect. Thanks for any hints.ĮDIT - I exported it to see if it was just a problem with the viewer in Hitfilm - I get a movie that is almost entirely the type on animation on a white backgroup and then a quick flash of the picture at the end.Caution: If you already own Boris Continuum, purchasing and installing a new unit or filter will overwrite the whole product and you will only be able to use the filter or unit you purchased. As soon as I hit play in the viewer I’m back to the animated title on a white screen with no sign of the photo underneath. If I pause the viewer, then move the animated plane below the photo, then move the animated plane BACK on top of the photo, everything shows properly with just the type on animation superimposed on the photo. I made a completely transparent plane within the Composite shot, applied the TS to that and it plays on a solid white screen - not much of an improvement. I put the photo in a Composite shot and then applied the effect but that didn’t help. I thought the alpha would be in the effect and wouldn’t depend on the photo. Any hints - I’m going crazy trying to get this. So, I’m somehow not getting the alpha channel applied. If I turn the effect visibility off I see the photo. When I go back to Hitfilm I get the type on animation on a black background. In preview in TS it looks perfect, I can preview the photo behind it and have positioned it, adjusted the lights, etc. I go into Title Studio UI and make a type-on extruded text Title with some tumbling, fading, etc, added. I have a photo in Hitfilm with a duration of 15 seconds which I add Title Studio to as an effect. Thanks for any tips.Īnother really basic stupid newby question. Sorry for the basic questions - just trying to understand the implications of all this before I get too far along. If I might want to vary the time that the finished animation (logo fly in etc) should sit on screen before fading out should I export a still at the end of the animation and load that in Hitfilm after the title and fade that still in Hitfilm? Or if I extend the title in Hitfilm will it add more of the final frame or just rescale everything to fit the new length? EDIT: bingo! this looks like Rigid Runs, which I just discovered from another post on here. Like I said, a complete newby - how is time length change managed? If I make a 1 minute Title STudio project and save it and I later load it on a media which is 30 seconds, does it cut the last 30 seconds off, or does it rescale everything proportionally? Also, after I send the title back to Hitfilm, what does it do if I lengthen or shorten it there. When I return to Hitfilm and my 30 FPS project, will the Title Studio animation be inserted so it’s frames match, or will it re-interpolate it so the times on the Time studio timeline (25FPS) match up to the times on the Hitfilm timeline (30FPS). Becomes pretty confusing at high time values. I change it to 30 FPS but the timeline doesn’t change - I have to keep track that 1 sec is where the timeline says “1+5frames”, 2 sec is “2+10frames”, etc. When I apply Boris to it and open Title Studio it always thinks the project is at 25 FPS. Just exploring and trying to make a logo, so I have a background still graphic in Hitfilm with 15 seconds duration and at 30 FPS.I got the 3 buttons at the bottom but I’d like to zoom in and out interactively. ![]() I have checked “Mouse Wheel zoom” but it seems to have no effect. How do I zoom in the timeline? My mouse wheel seems to move the Current time marker back and forth.A few embarassingly simple questions for a newb: Hitfilm has completely reorganized so I don’t think I can upgrade my version. Just getting back to Hitfilm Express and I have the Boris 3D addon that includes Title Studio (Continuum 2019 12.). ![]()
